Both GL and CEM style assessment covers Verbal and Non-Verbal reasoning. This unique subject area is sparsely taught under the KS2 syllabus in most primary schools, hence, most children are not endowed with the skill to reason spatially and figuratively. We recognise that passing 11+ 13+ and 16+ maths is not limited to the knowledge, methods and techniques of solving maths problems. The speed and accuracy to achieve this is as essential as the technical ability. Hence, at the beginning of the course we spend time exposing pupils core skills through series of assessment and continuous practices to ensure the fundamentals are well established. We have carefully collated the best exams papers that will help our students navigate through their 11 or 13 plus journey. Your child will have access to a daily challenging English and Maths Practice test papers to empower them build and gain academic confidence. We then follow this up with a zoom tutorial where they would be taken through a step by step solutions on difficult questions.
11+ exams are heavily weighted towards literacy skill over any other skill area. Hence, our course structure is similarly tailored to focus on literacy skills, vocabulary building, comprehension skills, essential spelling, creative writing as well as reading. Our service encompasses tools for training and development of cognitive skills for children seeking entrance into Independent schools. Cognitive test also known as abstract reasoning tests and diagrammatic style tests, are utilized by examining a person's problem-solving skills. This test is used to measure the ability to work flexibly with unfamiliar information to find solutions. These tests are often visualized through a set of patterns or sequences, with the user determining what does or does not belong.

As part of our services, we prepare our pupils for the Independent school interview. We recognise this is a nerve wrecking process for an 11-year-old child and more so for the parent, as they themselves draw from their interview experiences from the past. We are aware of what Independent schools are looking for; children that will fit their environment, well mannered, articulate, bright and able to gather their thoughts in the midst of the conversation. This skill will be developed with series of interview questions and mind maps to help the kid prepare for all the eventualities without making it too scripted, which puts off interviewers. Children will be allowed to air their views and insights, and our tutors will mould and shape their responses to meet and exceed the expectations of the interviewer.
